We had heard of the place by way of TV. Took a drive and it was well worth it. The location was neat and clean. Atmosphere was friendly. Service and food was excellent. Well worth the trip.

Best place to stop and get lunch or a drink...... they have been in business for a long time.... no come find out why!!!!! You will be back I can guarantee that!

This place was fantastic, we even played our lottery&bought 2/$30dollar scratch offs tickets, but we'll definitely be back, they sell more than just SUB'S, I ATE HALF 9F MINE, which was a 12layer sub&we als9 got some ITALION pasts with mushrooms my favorite, living our lives under the RADAR&LOVING IT!!!

I take my family to this place a lot! This is my favorite restaurant to have a bite. I go there at least once a month. The meals are very good, the staff members are polite and the payment is good. I like eating in this place to have a nice meal.

Great sandwiches make sure you go to the one on Oakwood best deal and big beefy sandwiches don't go to the one on Outer Drive in Dearborn

Awesome customer service. Ordered 10 8-meat sandwiches for New Year''s Eve. Half of them were only 4-meat. Spoke to the owner about the issue. Was given 2 free 8-meat sandwiches. Owner was very apologetic. Sandwiches are always great. Bread and meat are always fresh.

Wow great service, I got 4 very good subs 4 very big subs. Did I tell you how very good these subs were? Fresh buns soft inside and just right outside not too chewy. So much better than the chain sub restaurants. You must try this place.

Great Hoagies. Awesome for Lunch or dinner. Even the Longest lines move super fast. Thanks to the quick employees that "Build" the sandwiches. Try the olive bar.

Sub.....fabulous! Had a veggie sub. It was the best I've ever had.

When you think of Gonellas / SUB is the first thing that comes to mind. I love the greek olives on the pickle bar. Just mention the name and folks know what you're eating.

Best subs in the Metro Detroit hands down! Been going here for years and have yet to be disappointed. The only down side if any is they may be closed when I am in the area due to my schedule. The staff are always friendly, the food is always fresh, and the coolers always have ice cold drinks. I wish they had one on every corner.

We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we went to this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We passed a delightful time there with high-qulity dishes and a courteous stuff and a distinguished cuisine. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will definitely return very soon. Highly recommended.

Excellent local Italian establishment that sells super subs..6, 8,10 and twelve layer submarine sandwiches . Sandwiches come with shredded lettuce tomato shredded onion and a variety of Italian meats. And a special italian vinaigrette as the sauce.

Honestly this place was pretty amazing. Avery friendly and well serviced experience.I went there for of course their popular subs. I was pretty amazed with all the size options you can select. Quality and taste was on point. We were in and out in no time, and again the customer service was very friendly, patient, timely, and extremely hospitable. Every business should take note!

Havent been there in a couple of years. The prices went up, the $4.50 subs are now $6.00, but its still the high quality, great tasting subs with the fast service just like it's been for years. Yum !

Strictly speaking about the sandwiches that are made here, this place is great. The ingredients always taste fresh and the service here is super friendly. I usually order more than one sandwich and sometimes as much as eight and nothing causes the sandwiches to lose quality. Highly recommend.

The guy at the cash register makes the experience here worth while. He is always friendly. Always has a smile and always talks to you as part of the community, not just a customer. The ladies making the subs are hit or miss with their attitudes. Not always friendly. The subs are great. You get a good size sandwich for the price which is very respectable.

STILL the best sub place I've ever been to. There's a reason that this place is so talked about: it's really that good. Give a shout to Louie when you're there. The spicy radishes are something different to check out too and there are more types of olives than you can count.

This place makes a sandwich the right way. I ordered a 12 layer and shared it. You cannot go wrong at Gonellas.

Ive been coming here since I was a little girl. Theyve always had the best subs ever! Hands down! No one compares! Even now as an adult, Ive moved out of the neighborhood, but still go down to visit and grab my favorite sub for lunch!

Definitely, My favorite place to grab a sandwich. Foods is great and inexpensive. They're usually really fast, except around the lunch rush, 12 -1 pm. The employees are always kind and polite. I've been eating here since I was a kid and never had any problems. Gonellas is great 😊

It had been close to 10 years since I last came here. It didn't disappoint! My sandwich (14 layer) was filling. Very tasty! The staff are super friendly, too.
